Forced into DIY operation![]() Hello everyone! I stumbled upon this site and I am excited because I have the ability to get questions answered since my situation is an odd one. I live in a 100 year old house that is in dire need of repairs. I'm in a sense a "squatter" since the house was auctioned and I haven't paid rent since August. BUT there have been many "WTF" situations that have not made my stay free. I'm currently in the process of remodeling the bathroom because the old shower stall had cause the base, floor and base boards to rot. So all that has to be replace. I'm not going to have half the flooring new and leave the old on the other half so it ALL has to be replaced. New drywall is needed since half the bathroom is plaster and half is regular drywall (not the mildew resistant kind). It shall be fun!!! Have a great day and thank you for all the help I will acquire just by reading other folks' questions. |
