My name is George Benentt. My wife and I recently purchased a house that was built in the early 20's. It's double brick construction and not very big, 1 1/2 stories, 19 X 34 feet. It's been a rental for the past 35 years so it's a real project for us. Over the years we've built a big house from scratch and torn down & rebuilt the family cottage from scratch. We're not afraid of large projects because we research and consult before jumping in. I'm a machinist by trade so accuracy and working with tools are no strangers to me. We've never done a major reno on such an old structure so I'll be in here a lot asking for advice. (I hope I can give some also.)
