Finally registered and ready to rumble.

Hello all,

I've been an avid follower of this forum for years, and have found answers to many of my questions by reading the wonderful responses offered to other users' questions. I have finally registered, and hope to ask questions not yet addressed, as well as share my 2cents on the things I have done wrong and learned from over the years !
My house is a 1921 california bungalow in Los Angeles, and constantly has many new surprises to offer me (when I least expect). Most recently a section of clay sewer pipe beneath my foundation decided to collapse. Still trying to figure that one out, although I was able to temporarily re-route the sewer line with 4" ABS until I'm ready to get to diggin'.
I'm the kind of guy who brave enough (or dumb enough) to tackle any project as a DIY. I'm incredibly thankful for this forum shedding light on nearly every situation one may deal with in home repair and renovation, and look forward to contributing, finally.

Happy to be aboard,
Todd in Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA
