Complete Beginner

I just now realised there was an introduction section after already posting a question. How rude of me!

I'm a 25-year-old home owner. I have a small apartment in Melbourne Australia that I share with my boyfriend, his brother and my cat.

This whole home improvement/maintenance game is completely new to me, so I'm sorry to say I may be asking what will seem like pretty dumb questions.

I'm eager to learn, though, and willing to accept my mistakes so I'd certainly appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

The only way to learn is to ask questions.

There are really no dumb questions if you don't have the answer. Ask away.
