CFSpit New kid on the block

I am very pleased to find this site looks like lots of great members and information.

I am 55 father of two adult daughters who along with their Mom keep me plenty busy fixing autos, appliances, plumbing, electrical and now HVAC

I worked for Sears in their Home Services repair organization for over 20 years...never as a technician but I was surrounded by a whole bunch of great techs and was able to absorb a working knowledge of repairing things and a healthy respect for the people who know how to do it.

I have diagnosed R&Red furnace ignitors and flame sensors on my own furnace, now that my girls are getting homes I get to help them too.
I find it a lot easier to work on my own stuff that I am familiar with than something new (even if similar). Looking forward to tapping into all the expertise that is here.
