Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

Well, I'm 41, is that an old dog?

I've spent most of my life sitting in offices and working with computers and papers. I started my own home based business (accounting) and I now do lot less office work and more project stuff around the house now. Due to my lack of experience in anything other than spreadsheets, pretty much anything hands on is a challenge for me, but I am always up for a challenge. I bought a 1990 Jeep YJ and thought I would fix it all up (still hope to), but it is a lot of work just to keep it running. I feel a sense of accomplishment each and every time it starts up (which is about 40% of the time). My wife thinks it is too loud (hole in the exhaust manifold).

Now I am working on a project, attempting to connect an old sink stainless steel sink I bought from a neighbor. It is on my patio. I'll post a picture of what I am working with in a more appropriate thread.

I am happy to have found this forum!
