California victorian

Hi all,
I live in Sacramento and own an 1885 victorian that requires a whole lot of work and rehabilitation from some bad work done in the last 10-15 years. I also have a small rental house built in 1948 that is well constructed with a few issues. I'm becoming a builder like I became a mechanic, owning something that needs a ton of work! Most of the time I enjoy working on the house and I really appreciate access to the knowledge of others to make projects go better. I have some skills/experience in these areas if I'm able to help others: above ground pool, tile, drywall, fence, and solid-surface counters. It's nice to find a forum of this type.
