radz Newbie   Join Date: Sep 2011 Location: Reston, VA Posts: 1	Bought our first place Hello everyone. We just bought a split level colonial on half an acre in Reston, VA. We haven't started working on the place yet, but plan to soon. Overall the house is in pretty good shape but I'm sure we will be spending a lot of time on this site. Thanks for all the future advice!

Clean the dryer screen in HOT water if using fabric softener sheets. They leave a residue that impedes air-flow, costing you money. Clean the ducting in the last six months? 17,000 dryer fires annually!
