Greetings! I'm new to this site and per Nathan's email I'll tell you a little about myself. I'm 51, and have been in the sheetmetal trades for 27 years. 7 1/2 years in the ship repair industry, 2 years building truck bodies, and 17 years in the commercial HVAC industry. Currently made the move back to ship repair at PSNS/Bremerton WA. I've done carpentry, tile work, light electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, trim work (ie. baseboards, door and window trim), painting, outdoor sprinkler systems, and some roofing. Jack of all trades/master of none - except sheetmetal. Currently I'm in the process of remodeling our master bathroom with a new custom shower enclosure installing a "built-up" mortar shower bed with liner, curb, and a recessed niche for stuff. When that's done, next will be a heated tile floor. In the past 20 yrs. at our home I have built a 12 x 16 ft. shed, rock retaining wall, outdoor sprinkler system, built a linen closet in the hallway upstairs utilizing part of an adjoining bedroom closet, tiled our kitchen floor, installed a new gas furnace, built a 12 x 24 ft. car port, installed a new entry door with new interior and exterior trim, taped off existing interior wall outlet to install an exterior GFI outlet, installed a new gas cooktop in our kitchen island, painted,... well, you get the message. Sorry I wrote so much and there is even more. Looking forward to using this site.
