Another newb

Hello All. Name is Bill, and I'm definitely a DIY'er.
In my younger days, I did alot of different construction jobs, from laborer for stone and brick masons, to installing doors and windows, to hanging drywall. For almost 20 years now, I've been a professional mechanic, working on automotive and becoming an ASE master, and now working on heavy equipment for the last 11 years. I've built more trucks and machines then I can count, and done alot of odd things in my day, along with alot of the average DIY type stuff at my home and for friends and family.
I'm not an expert by any means at anything to do with carpentry or home remodeling, although i hand handle it easily enough. I will be asking a few questions on those subjects from time to time, and in return, if anyone has any questions on hydraulics, fabrication, or machines in general, I'd be happy to help any way I can.

Welcome! Hydraulics? That may be something that will really help--I never learned the ins and outs of that---

Join right in and have fun!---Mike----

I repair hydraulic excavators, wheeled loaders, backhoes, dozers, etc (pretty much anything that comes in) for a living. I've made many modifications, and put together my own systems before, even done a few restoration projects. Although I am generally the electrical guy on that stuff, I can deal with hydraulics as well. If its over my head, I have a friend that is great with hydraulics.
