Hello All,

I've owned my home in MD for almost 3 years now and am always involved in weekend projects it seems. I'm a scientist and it seems my weakness is that my strong fear of screwing things up leads to overanalyzing, overthinking and overplanning projects to the point where they don't get done very fast! So from time to time I will rely on the forum to look over what I'm planning to do and give comments on whether it makes sense. And, of course, I'm sure I will learn a lot from other posters and the comments they elicit. My current project is to build a pergola over part of my patio - and, yes, I'm still in the planning stages but, hey, it still kind of cold outside Anyway, this looks like a great forum and am happy to be a part of the community.

Steve
