Upcoming Changes on DIYChatroom!

You are gonna love what we are working on for this community!

We will be adding a Rewards Program where everyone will be able to use points they earn (free) in the community to purchase things such as eGift Cards, swag, tools, forum perks, etc.

Could you give me some ideas about tools you would like to see included in the program that range in price between about $25 - $100 or so? If you have a link that would help me as well.

We will also be adding a Project of the Month program for you! You can see an example of how it works here! http://www.contractortalk.com/contra...onth/index.php

I am so excited that the company is working on improving this community!

I have projects I posted on other forums. Would these be illegible to post here?

I don't see why not but you wouldn't want all the words to be identical.

What do you guys think about Oatey's blue cement?
Had to change out an pump today, it was raining and humid, and I needed to get it done quickly, so I used some of that hot blue lava cement and it seemed to take pretty fast.

I had the pump running in less than 10 minutes after I glued the pipe together. Think it will be alright?

It's used quite a bit for pumps and irrigation. I've always called it hot glue- never had problems with it
