Room down below

there is alot of room at the lower part of the page. When I scroll down a list of posts on a thread, I would like to see the same thing I see at the top...like this: DIY Chatroom - DIY Home Improvement Forum > Community
I am lazy, so it would be nice to navigate when I am at the lower part of any page.
Not a big deal...but is this possible?

Nathan? You got it?

AtlanticWBConst. 12-02-2008 12:15 PM

Actually, the business side of me thinks that is prime advertising space...

Nathan 12-03-2008 12:04 AM

Hmmmm.... so are you saying you have to scroll to far to get to the bottom or are you saying you want more options on the bottom?

wilderstyle 12-03-2008 09:10 AM

Actually, there is a "Top of Page" at the bottom, that would take you right there. I use the quick links, it would be nice if that was available, but I just click "top of Page" and scroll over to it.

Hey I am over 50 and would never admit to being lazy or unable to use a computer! Those are the first(mmm) obvious signs of old age!

Now I am really feeling like a lazy bastard
I was just wondering if having these at the bottom:
"DIY Chatroom - DIY Home Improvement Forum > Community > Site Help and Suggestions "
would make it easier to navigate after posting in a thread instead of scrolling back up to navigate.
I now see the "go to top of page" and that is better.
I will start using that. No big deal.

Floorwizard 12-03-2008 11:39 AM

or maybe even move up the "top page".
that way after I post, the "top page" is sitting right there instead of scrolling down.

I can already feel my fingers getting fatter from lack of excercise

 ... It wasn't intentional :whistling2:

I think what your talking about is called "Breadcrumbs" and I'll see if I can make a copy of them lower on the screen.

Nathan 12-03-2008 11:47 AM

How about that?

DangerMouse 12-03-2008 12:17 PM

since we're asking questions, how come up top of the page you have Carpentry | Construction | Electrical | Flooring | HVAC | Landscaping | Painting | Plumbing | and Roofing showing, but not the other ones, like showcase, or computer repairs, car problems, etc. there's plenty of room on MY bar still.... just curious

On my screen there is a lot of room too but on some users screens (800x600 folks) there is no more space. If I add more it does some funny things with the layout.

DangerMouse 12-03-2008 02:19 PM

ah, that makes sense... tnkx
