2/3 of the way through winter probably sees lots of pent-up problems surfacing, hence the influx of googling and joining DIY forums. At least that's what caused me to join.

Must have been a spammers convention someplace and they had a meeting about how to waste your time and others with useless postings.

Mostly - they like all the good advice that we give -
