Thought I should uninstall/install the app.

New DIY Chatroom iPhone / iPad / Android App

The learning curve on my new Samsung Galaxy s II is huge. I've been a hardcore blackberry user for years, but I'm trying.

I cannot figure out how to get my photos to arrive in portrait, whether I email them to myself or send them straight here.
I've got the camera configured to portrait, but they always revert to landscape.

I've got to get this issue sorted as my business website only accepts portrait.

Thanks

Hold your phone right side up not sideways when taking photo.

If you upload photos to this forum via smart phone it will alway upload to that size landscape regardless how you take it. It all has to do with aspect size on the screen your camera is still the same portrait from landscape so it's not the phone it's we're you are sending it that will allow it or reverse it.

So to clarify, you are saying that it is this site and my email that are reverting it back to landscape? It has nothing to do with the phone?

Is this what you meant?

If this is the case then why is it not happening to other posters who send in pic's.

I appreciate your attempts to help me resolve this problem, but I'm convinced the problem lies within the phone settings somewhere. The blackerry did not do this, nor do photo's that people upload using their digital camera's hence the reason I say its not the site.

NATHAN>>> Help please !!

Yep that should do it. That setting is for auto rotation.

I have Samsung Galaxy, turn auto rotation on/off. I have a gallery full of portrait images.

This forum rotates the image though, settings for forum would need to be changed to get it to work here, which would be nice.
