Just a note, when I click an email link to the forum on my iphone, I get a popup suggesting I get the app. However, when I click that link I get sent to "AFullCup Grocery Coupon" app instead of the diy forum app. Is this just me?

The online link to the forum will always tell you there is a app in AppStore. Just search for the app in the store it will come up.

I found the app, I was pointing out the issue with the incorrect reference to a random coupon app.

anybody getting massive data charges with the app? One morning, I accessed the site through the app through the wi-fi at my house, it was the only app I accessed that morning, then went out.

While driving (based on time-data records), my phone sent 80MB of data, and I can't figure out where. I did not upload any photos or anything, so I'm kind of stumped.

The 80MB caused me to exceed my data limit, so it cost me $15

?.. That's odd no app should require that much MB usage unless your constantly sending photos, and if your on home wifi then that's what u would be using not cell network.
Do you have iCloud storage on your phone? You have iPhone right. If so it could be sysnc over the cell single to iCloud meaning its backing up your entire phone but usually should only do this wile on wifi.

Are you sure it came from this app or are you assuming that the data is coming from our app? I don't see how that's possible.

I have the app on my android samsung.
Never had that experience.
I will say that on my phone at least, when I exit the program it closes and does not run in the background.check your task manager and see what is running that your not aware of.
On the I phone, hold down the home key and the manger will pop up showing you whats currently running/accessing the web.

Sorry for the delay in answering, I forgot about this thread. I assumed it was from the app, and only because it was the only app that I used before leaving the house, and it had WiFi access all night to send any large files.

Am I certain it was the DIY app? No.

But as a precaution I took it off my iPhone.

Periodically have a crash when trying to uplaod an image. App crashes when the screen that ask if you would like to insert inline should appear. Problem sometimes resolved by phone restart.
