Mods-- Question

Sorry Guys...

I could not find "off topic"... please move me as appropriate.

But in the last two days I've 1) Been logged on 2) typed a relatively long response to a thread 3) Hit send.... and the system then brings me on to a new log=on screen.

I log on again, and the system tells me something like hit the back button, I'm already logged on.

I hit my back arrow, and my response has been lost.

This has happened twice... they happen to be rather detailed / long responses.

IS this me or the system.... am I doing something in error

TIA

Best

Peter

EDIT> And maybe related, but my subscribed threads with new postings disappears/reloads, although I have not read them.

I've sent a request that this topic be moved to Site Help & Suggestions, under the Community header.

I haven't experienced any of the problems that you've encountered.

Mods-- Question

That has happened to me a couple of times in the last week----system glitch is my guess---this site does log you off if there is no activity for a period of time---

When that happens---copy the post and paste it in when you log back on---Mike---

This same thing has happened to me a quite a few times since I joined. Now I usually type responses on a word possessor, then copy and paste it here. It's a nice backup and has saved me many times from having to start from scratch again.

I wish you luck. There has been a glitch on contractor talk for weeks now, that hasn't been fixed.
