How to post a picture or drawing on this site

Took picture with digital camera in order to submit with my thread. File size was 1.5, too large for uploading to site.
Then drew diagram by hand, scanned,& uploaded. REJECTED AGAIN Said "invalid file" What am I doing wrong?

Aren't there file size options on thoses hosting sites that can adjust the size of the pictures? There might even be size adjustments in the picture program on your computer.

a nic e little tip- if you have windows xp save the pic in my documents then enter your documents file highlight your pic with the left hand button then look on the pane on the left hand side under file and folder tasks and select email this file,a box will come to make your pics smaller press ok, when the email box comes up select your file (next to attachment)and drag it to your my documents folder. you will now notice you have two of that same file but ones file size as been lowered. hope that made sense
