how to get rid of the better than craigslist **** advertisement

what is with the more than half naked pic advertisements. if i can not get them removed from showing up it is a good way for me to leave site due to not appropriate for me not to mention my children who see them when i am on this site

I run no script with firefox. Where do you see these ads?

These should not be displaying at all. I will double check the settings, but we definitely want to promote a family-friendly atmosphere here.

Do you know the domain name associated with the ad? If so please PM me the name and I will add it to the block list.

Myself, I am tempted to say this might be moved to the pc section of diy. I would be happy to assist in fixing it, but is a malware issue and nothing to with diy.

I am a proud member of diy, and also a not so proud member of the craigslist community forums.
It is the simple trash from the spam that drove me to look for a new home in diy.
My only point here is, I have been involved with craigslist for about 6 years.
I have never seen what you say, you some how picked up some malware and can usually be fixed easily.
It is not from craigs list or diy. It is just something you picked up.

First thing I want to know is what operating system you have, win7, vista, xp ... and what anti virus you have running?

it was an add that popped up to the right side of the screen on diy forum.
they must have fixed it because they stopped popping up
