How about a gallery?

I don't know where you're getting that from. No one said anything even remotely like that. A member completes a project, they can post the limited pics of the end result (whatever it may be) in the gallery. That's how a gallery works. To use my mustang forum as a reference again, there isn't one for yellow cars, red cars, blue cars, etc. There is just a gallery. No need for all that stuff you're talking about.

Not having a gallery forum, hasn't turned you a way from our site. So how would having one benefit our site?

Just saying people would ask questions later in our other forums. Doesn't mean or prove that a gallery forum would be the reason they are here.
Not me personally, no. But then again, I'm a big newb at DIY and still have a lot to learn. Not everyone is like me.

With DIY. I believe you will find that the vast majority of people will want info on how it was done, and with what materials. Something was done. Not just a pic of the finished project.

That is the reason why I don't watch HGTV or Extreem Makeover. It's all about how it looks, not how to make it look that way.
