forum problem

Could someone please look into why the ads are over top some of the threads? You cannot read the part under the ad. Normally it affects the first post in the thread on the right side.

Thanks.

Happens to me too, on my ipad. Very annoying!

I'm having the same problem. The ads are on the right hand side and cover a few words at the end of each sentence of the original post and replies. As I write this there is a Home Depot ad, photos of a roofing project, another HD ad, and a blog about basement stairs. Trying to read someone's post and having to guess at the words which are hidden is not my idea of fun.

I forwarded this to the administration for you---------

Oh Mike,
its still doing it. The ads and blogs bleeding over into the posts. Please see if you can get it fixed.

Try increasing your fonts to 110%, hold down the Ctrl button while scrolling the mouse wheel, this is what I have to do each time. This has been a problem for a while now, hopefully it will be resolved soon.

On my laptop when that happens if I increase to full screen it goes away.

kwikfishron 08-01-2013 03:40 PM

It used to be only do this on my laptop, now just starting today it's on the big monitor too.

beenthere 08-01-2013 04:28 PM

I still don't have that problem. 23" monitor though.

chrisn 08-01-2013 04:38 PM

Happening on mine now, this is new and very annoying.

kwikfishron 08-01-2013 04:43 PM

Monitor size seems to be the difference although you'd think it shouldn't matter.

For me the sidebar overlapping the post was fixed when they turned on the auto picture sizing but the problem is back now in "some" threads on my screen.

I think our IT Admin is tied up with tweaking all the forums. That he isn't able to keep all of them tweaked.

When I can't keep up with my workload I hire help.

I don't see places do that with IT guys. I take care of several places that their IT guys say they need more help all the time. But the companies won't hire more, not even as part time, or short term contract subs.
