How do I add a picture to my posts like yours?

Nathan 01-13-2004 03:45 PM

Hey Roger,

Those little pictures are called Avatars.
You can customize your profile.. including your Avatar by clicking on UserCP up top. Heres the link:http://www.diychatroom.com/usercp.php
Let me know if you need any more help!

Thanks for the quick help! I Think I have it now. I had to make the image really small for the system to take it though... bummer.
I like your site though

Nathan 01-13-2004 10:50 PM

We have to keep the images small in order for the site to load fast.
Let me know if you need help with anything else.

Having a problem and it may have to do with me running Firefox browser, but for some reason I can't copy & paste from the text of another post into a reply. I get the copy option ok on the right click, but when I go to paste it into the body of my reply I can't get a paste option. As I say I may be the only one having this issue. Any advice Nathan, anybody?

I have this problem sometimes. Usually when I copy from a text doc and try to paste into the post window nothing will be there. What I do to fix it is have both windows open at the same time and copy/paste works then. Try using seperate windows sized to fit the screen and see if that helps.

Hey Dell (if that's your real name....hehehe), do you use hotkeys to do this? I find that it's faster, and I always use the standard hotkeys (Ctrl + X = Cut, Ctrl + C = Copy, and Ctrl + V = Paste). I guarantee if you get used to it, it's easier and faster, and it works just fine with FireFox, which is what I also use. I just tried it using the right click menu options, and got no paste option, just as you described. I was a little surprised....I never encountered this I guess b/c I always use the hotkey combos.
