First of all, let me say that I really enjoy this site and have been a member for....well for awhile now. I like to give advice in my area of knowledge and have learned quite a bit from experts in other areas.

Lately I have been having an issue being able to backtrack away from a thread back to the board. If I right click on my back button I see that there is a long list of either googleads pages or mediaplex pages. What I see for example is:

h t t p :// img.mediaplex.com/content/0/1616

or

h t t p ://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/page

(without the spaces of course) These pages prevent me from going back to the board without actually clicking "plumbing" for instance.

I'm curious. Is this coming from this website or is it something on my computer that I'll need to address? I dont seem to have this issue on any other site so that makes me think that it is perhaps something to do with the advertising here.

Again, I really do enjoy this site and would like to give kudos to those responsible for it being here for all of us to enjoy.

JDC- I don't see anything like that. Only pages I've visited.
I don't know much about browsers and such, but have you changed or updated any settings or web related programs?

I switched to google chrome, and do not have that problem any more.
I'm now trying to get a script blocker that doesn't require me to use a password every time I open the browser.

No changes or updates to Internet Explorer or Windows. Think I'll give Google Chrome a try and see if that remedies the situation.

Thanks!

Well it seems that the issue is gone with Google Chrome. Thanks for the suggestion!
