Ads

Hey guys, I completely understand that there must be ads in the forums to allay costs, but there must be a better way to do it. If someone makes a post that includes pictures, the width of the post expands to the entire screen and then becomes partially hidden behind the ads. It is kinda hard to understand and respond to a question when you can't read it because an ad is covering it up. I only see this issue on picture posts.

I've determined nothing is going to change on this subject, so if you really must read it copy and send to yourself as an email or elect to do as I do, avoid and move on to better things. I just don't have time remaining in life to screw around with those types of aggravations.

Frustrating for everyone, I imagine it discourages a lot of new readers from joining.

Can you post a URL of an example of what you mean?

Can you do a screen shot or take a picture with your phone and post it so we can see what you are, the posts in those links look like they always do to me.

Until I increase the size of my screen, that is the way it is on mine also.

That was on my laptop at 125%. I don't see that issue on my 19" monitor.

When the site format changed it was a big problem until they did something with auto sizing the posted pictures...that cleared it up for me but it still seems to be an issue for those viewing on smaller screens.

It needs to be fixed for sure.

When my 24" monitor won't solve the problem so be it and I AIN'T going to change any percents for smaller text, I like it normal.

It seems to always be the same, with thousands of people needing to change something rather than 1 person making the change. So for now I'm sticking to my original thoughts and reply on the matter.

Same here and if I make the text smaller, I can't read it.
