The Hover Fly may Bee the culprit if you tend to leave your garage door open in warm weather. In flight they are sometimes mistaken for a Honey Bee but the body appears slightly smaller.
Hover flies prefer to lay their eggs in any small horizontal opening so your air chuck or blow gun with a quick coupler end attached, or even a piece of gas hose or tubing laying on the shop shelf is a likely place for this little queen to enter. So before you throw in the towel and buy new keep this possible restriction in mind.
This has been a DIY service announcement. Please return to your regular July 4th activities.
