Plasma cutters are nice, but in my opinion, to justify the cost you need to use them alot. I have a Portoband, and saws-all that I use alot. I would love to have a plasma cutter but I know I would not use it enough to pay for it.

I have a cheap miter saw with a metal cutting blade for small jobs. It works great, but if you use it allot you will go broke buying metal cutting blades. I got a cheep Ryobi on sale for $89.00. I wouldn't buy a good one, all of the abrasive material destroys the saw.
