Yellow Jacket Extension Cords
Any contractors in da house...
Love Love my OLD stock Yellow Jacket Cables.
Just picked up one and blehh..same jacket rating, not made in USA no more ( I suppose post Coleman buyout) , etc, etc.
Back to making DIY SJ cords...
I've yet to find another manuf. aside from SJ that had the FLEX like the 'ole Yellow Jacket Branded Cables I know
The female on mine went bad in the first year, I replaced it with a Hubble plug, works fine now.
my main chords are the bosch 12 gauge chords. though they arent actually made by bosch . their soft rubber so they stay flexible in cold weather. husky chords are alright but their stiff. just look for 10 gauge or 12 gauge chords at different shops and see if their really floppy when warm. if they are their usually good
one bosch chord is 6 years old the other 4, the male end on one has been replaced with levitron heavy duty end the female ends are cut off when new and replaced immediately with locking chord ends.. once clicked in you have to release it like a air hose fitting.. though much more money their the only locking plug end that actually works. you can easily lower portable saws by the chord without tying off. even yank on the chord when its fetched up without any issue
