Where to purchase fasteners online?
Hey guys,
I'm planning a pretty big project (2nd floor addition above kitchen) and want to stock up on all required fasteners... curious where most of you purchase your fasteners from online? Was the customer experience good or should I just go to Home Depot?
Thanks for the help!

Online from Mcfeelys. Quality stuff, not the stuff that breaks under torque like the JUNK fasteners from HD/Lowes.

I usually get my screws from Mcfeelys too. They have all types, and they seem to be quite a bit tougher than the ones at the big box stores.
A bit on the spendy side, but breaking fewer of them makes up for it.

agreed. the stuff you get from HD/Lowe's is the equivalent of the garbage material that comes with one of those packaged wall shelves your wife would bring home from Bed, Bath Beyond. one turn with a screw gun and the head looks like spaghetti.

agreed re: price... similar to mcmaster carr. seems like most sites out there either look like they were put together by a 90 year old rain man, or they're 1/2 decent and charge an arm and a leg.

A bastardized combination of "ah" and "yeah" commonly used by old cronies from Maine who have nothing better to do than whittle wood in front of a convenience store waiting to be written into a Stephen King novel.
