What kind of pipe clamps and tools are these?

Trying to identify these tools that came in a kit.

Do they do anything besides hold/clamp? (Obviously there's a file too.)

Any ideas what that missing tool is?

Are there better tools on a budget? (I have a basic cutter, not shown, that's supposed to do PVC and EMT. I don't see how or why to use a clamp with that cutter.)

Thanks.

The clamp as you call it, is actually a flaring tool, used in conjunction with the piece to the left. Don't know what is missing though.

Thanks. How about the item in the middle? Does it compress/crimp or anything? I think the kit was supposed to adapt and cut.

If by "the item in the middle" you mean the the tool that is in the front of the tray as pictured, that's part of the flaring tool.

You clamp the end of the tubing in the clamp thingy on the left with the various sized holed, they you hook the legs around the clamp so that the cone is pointed down the end of the tube, then you turn the threaded handle so that the cone is forced into the end of the tube, making the flare.

edit: look at the picture posted by Jackofall1, it shows how the two parts of the flaring tool fit together.

If you're asking about the tool in the center, between the faring tool and the file, that's a tubing cutter for copper tubing (a good quality one will also cut steel). one side of the opening has rollers and the other side has a sharp wheel. You put the tubing in the opening and close it down by turning the knob, then you rotate the tool around the tubing and the wheel cuts the tubing. You have to repeat this several times, tightening it a little each time, and it cuts the tubing in two.

Here's a video of how the tubing cutter works

Here's how the flaring tool works

Thanks, I'm all set. Well, I wonder about that missing piece, but otherwise I understand.

My guess would be some kind of tubing bender, given the other tools in the kit.
