US Made Tools

I jokingly suggested someone should rush out and buy the limited edition hand plane for $3,222. I will say that the tools I have bought from this company, at realistic pricing, are gorgeous. You don't have to buy foreign made tools! There are still many companies like this making nice stuff in the US and they deserve our support.

My birthday is soon. I do have my Dad's and my Grandfather's planes of all types and my specialized boat working shapers, and even though out of the game and having no use for it? I would look really cool carrying the plane mentioned around the streets of Chicago. Feel free to send me one. I would really like it if you sent me the other two in the limited edition too though.

US Made Tools

There are still a lot of quality tools made in the USA.
Here is one where I have several:

Unfortunately it would be a pretty tough road to build a house or even a shed using only American tools assuming “power” is a feature in tools you can’t live without.

At least we still make great Chainsaws and you could certainly build a house with one assuming Ma’s ok with a rustic finish.

I think you’d still be drilling any holes by hand though.
