Type of Ladder

Some of the windows on my house I need to get to are a little high...

We also have some cathedral ceilings inside that some scaffolding would be a major help on.

Should I get one of those "multi position" ladders that can fold into all sorts of shapes?? How good is it for being an extension ladder and do any extension ladder add-ons (stability bars, fold out step platform, etc) work with these foldable ladders?

Just looking for some feedback!

Thank you.

+ 1 on Little Giant ladders. I have common extension and step ladders as well, and often prefer them, as the Little Giant is heavy, relatively speaking, and sometimes the base width can be a hinderance when working in tight confines, but as far as versatility, stability, and durability, if I ever reach a point where I start cutting back, the Little Giant will probably be the last ladder that I let go. There are other brands, some of them considerably lighter, but I have also seen some that I would not climb on.

I've got a Werner & I love it. I don't feel comfortable when I use it to get on the roof, so I use my 10ft step ladder. I weigh 250 & capacity is 300.
