Troy Built engine:what mower decks will fit?

boone722 Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 1	Troy Built engine:what mower decks will fit? Hello, I have a Troy Built 6.5hp 21in cut and the deck has gone to the great beyond.It's only 5yrs old !!! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what decks this would bolt up too?It is self propelled but I could do without that feature If I need too.I hate to buy a new one if I can avoid it. Thank you

I don't know if you can buy a new mower deck, but Troy Built should use a B&S engine. I'd look to see what other makes use the same engine. I belive Troy-Bilt is being made the same company that makes MTD,Yardman and many more mowers under different names, I just saw a couple Troy-Bilt push mowers at the local Lowes on clearance for around a 100 bucks,but it's the end of the season here in De.
