Syntom of low in GAS?

I have a PC cordless finish nailer.... when it behave like this: depress once , press trigger, no response, depress again, press trigger, no response, depress the third time, press trigger, it fire.... sometimes it do successive firing.... the problem is I don't have confident that it fires everytime.... is this a syntom of running out of gas? the problem is I am yet to figure out where to purchase gas for PC.... or is this syntom of somthing wrong with the gun... I do have three tube... one I am quite sure it is done... the other two seems have some left but not sure which has more as they all looks alike and very light.... would be nice if it can tell easily...

Syntom of low in GAS?

How old is it? About 9 years ago they came out with a model that used gas and you had to compress the gun for the spark. I bought one and kept returning it to the store every 2-4 weeks for a new one. This went on for about a year until they just traded it for a Paslode. I am pretty sure that they stopped making them due to the flaws.

I have the same problem with my PC pneumatic finish nailer. I've discovered that if I want it to fire, I pretty much have to slam the nose onto the nail surface in order for it to fire.

Are you saying in order to get it fire, you have to depress it quickly and push the trigger instantly once the depression reach its end...is it what you meant "slam its nose to the nail surface"....well... if this is the case, it is pretty difficult for me to do that as I am doing baseboard nailing which is hard for such action...

Maybe slam is a hard word, but you I sure as heck can't depress it gently.
