Stubborn Hex Bolt

I am taking apart my dryer and there are two hex bolts that holds the front of it together. It looks similar to this:

The other bolt I can turn to listen it but it never pulls out at all. Any tips on how to get this sucker out of there?

Not sure why your trying to take the front off at all. Any I've seen are worked on from the top or the back side.
Lefty loosy.

Definitely going left.

I am using that site on how to open the dryer so I can replace the belt. The front panel has two screws to the top that are required to come off so that the front can pop off.

The hole's stripped. Get a putty knife, nail puller, knife blade, whatever behind the head and give a little outward pressure while you turn. It'll come right out.

Or vise grips; pull outwardly while you turn counter clockwise.
(kind of like a counter-rotating glokinspheel)
