siding removal tool?

Anyone ever use those "siding removal tools"? I found them on-line and they specifically say they work on vynil, but they dont mention AL. Can anyone varify they work on vynil as well? I tried searching here, but didnt find anything about them. TIA.

siding removal tool?

I looked at the same tools for my upcoming siding job. Aluminum bends like crazy so I'm a little cautious of using a steel zip tool, but, its only a $5 buy so I'll try it. Can't see how it would do any damage.
