Kwikfishron has a link to a fine small saw---I have that exact model---I believe Ron owns the larger version---That is the finest job saw I have owned---and I've had a few--if that is within reach,I recommend it highly.

I do have a full size saw in my shop---that is what I use for big work.

Update: Bottom line is I just wasn't finding what I needed in $300 range. So I dug in deep, upset wife a bit with increased cost, but the Bosch 4100-09 with gravity stand is arriving tomorrow. Now I guess I'm going to really have to build a lot of stuff to justify it!
