Ridgid Random Orbit Sander
HI;
Thinking about getting a Random Orbit Sander. I have not had one before, but have heard good things. I am building all new cabinets for our kitchen and thought it would be nice for finishing the wood work. I also have some slightly rougher sanding I'd like to do with it, sanding off the old wall paper gunk from some of our plaster walls so I can re-coat them. Does anyone have any comments on the Ridgid ROS? Or other Random Orbit Sanders? The Ridgid is at $129 for a 6" and has a lifetime warranty. The Bosch looks nice, but is much more expensive at about $275. Jamie

I have the ridgid 5" and it has been good for me. Used it for a variety of sanding and it has handled it all very well. It has variable speed and a pretty good dust collection bag.
