re: impact driver bits

I am going to purchase an impact driver bit set

I was wondering if I should get 1/4" or 3/8" drive (with adapter). is there really a difference for the impact driver. why would i choose one over the other

Strength, you'll twist/break 1/4" drives before you would break 3/8" drives. Really depends on what your use is as to which would be better.
