Power actuated firing pin not working

Hey all...well, I loaned out my Remington 494 nailer to a friend and now it doesn't work. When I pull the trigger it just clicks but no shot. Anybody here ever fix theirs?

I have never fixed one.
My suggestion was to have your 'Friend' Buy you a new one

Since they are no longer available you could do a disassamble and take a look see.

Make sure it's not loaded. Look inside at the firing pin for part of a copper shell casing smashed/wedged over the recessed hole there. When that happens the pin will not be able to contact the end of the new load shot to fire, just a click. Hope that does it, they are pretty durable.
