Paslode fram nailer

Hello
I have aquired an old Paslode nailer. ( Old ) maybe 30 years old ( Grey) about 6 or 7 lbs.
What I need to know is do I have to add oil to the air line ?
to keep it lubricated every so often ?
I have looked on every inch of this gun and Can't find a model number
or any way to describe it other then it's " big " I think I can get a 3" nail
but I will have to find a place who will let me try a couple before I buy a box.

I'm about to re install my 2' X 6" beck boards. I have reversed them.
The tops are weather cracked the underside are as if they came from the lumber yard, I washed them by hand with bleach removed all the moss green stuff.
"I know the wood will be reversed cuped. but the size of my deck is 16' by 20' plus a lower level and a wide stair case.
The cost to replace it all, is not in my pocket book at this time.
I " can "afford to replace any unsafe boards I'm not that cheep!

if it's that old i would imagine you would need to either add oil directly to the gun itself, or better yet, get an inline FRL set-up for your air supply

reply to oil

yes I found out I can add oil to the air inlet.
But in the mean time I found this old nailer in only good
for 2 1/2 " small gage nails and won't work for what I need it for

Thanks Deck hand
