Paint Sprayer

What is everyone's thoughts on a good reasonable priced sprayer ( is there such a thing)
I have painted more times then I care to remember but I never used a spray gun. It will be needed to paint popcorn ceilings, and smooth walls.

Thoughts?

thanks

I bought a reconditioned titan sprayer last year for around 300 bucks. I used it a couple of times and it's worked great. I thought that I would have used it more but for small rooms it's easier to just paint by hand then to tape everything off and spray and then clean the sprayer. I did a whole basement and it went really quick.

Painting popcorn ceiling can be problematic - any wetting can bring down the popcorn. Best to remove the popcorn, fix and skim-coat the ceiling, then paint - IMHO.

Paint Sprayer

it is at a rental so I did not want to go through the expense and time to remove the popcorn. It is in very good shape but I do know if it gets too wet it may come down, which is why i was thinking of spraying as opposed to using a roller?

Buy a new one. Rental sales are notoriously abused and you are buying a Pandora's box full of future problems.

Check eBay. I bought a commercial model for a VERY reasonable price, brand new, on eBay.
