Default

Out of the box Generac won't start


Any help would be appreciated. XG8000e, oil added, didn't fill fuel tank,but should be enough, w/electric start.

did you read the manual that came with it? if it is new out of the box and won't run i would return it for one that does.

Did you open the valve from the tank to the carberator?
Remove the air filter, open up the choke and give it a shot of starting fluid.

Thanks for the responses, I figured out the plug wasn't getting any fuel. Joe thats exactly what I did, removed air filter and shot some starter fluid in there and started right, ran fine after that. thanks again guys.......
