New tools! Wahoo!!

So I was at HD and they had a demonstration on the Dewalt 20V cordless impact driver. They were selling a combo pack with the impact and compact hammerdrill plus 2 batteries and a charger for $319 A couple of days later Dewalt promoted a sale for $249...then HD mistakenly ran an ad for 20% off cordless tools during their Milwaukee promotion so I got the Dewalt kit for $200! Awesome tools. I can't believe the torque that comes out of these things. It reminds me of the power I got from my 12V Hilti which grew legs at a site (

Anyone else purchase these?

CC Dave

Unfortunately, the sale is already over. In retrospect, I should have said something earlier Sorry about that.

Ooh, ooh. I can play. I drove over to Lowes today to see if they'd match Amazon's price on a Porter Cable oscillating tool. They wouldn't.

On the way, I stopped at a pawn shop I hadn't visited in a while. I found a Bosch Colt palm router, looked new, marked $59.95. Instructions and wrenches hadn't even been taken out of the bag. I've been wanting one for several years, but never really needed it. Got up to the register and the manager took 30% off! 42 bucks!
