While I only buy Milwaukee,Makita,Bosch and older PC power tools my hand tools are craftsman, gearwrench and kobalt. I went with 1/2 drive as I only have a kobalt flex head 1/2 drive(72 teeth) and the made in USA kobalt 1/2 that came in set. I figured I'd try premium in 1/2 drive as these tools are subjected to more torque plus I have glut of 3/8 ratchets- a Stanley rotator(60),a Pittsburgh forge double flex ratchet(72),kobalt roto head(36) plus 2 older USA craftsmans that came in sets.

Anyway, I like that the ratchet had a x beam type handle aka the handle twists and lies flat in your palm. Also it has 84 teeth. I am going to use it to replace upper control arm bushings in my Dakota R/T. The 4.5 degree arc will be nice on close quarters. Anybody have any of these ratchets.I am amazed at how nice the new kobalt and Pittsburgh ratchets are. This craftsman premium is a step up.

Oh and it looks like a matco.

I believe craftsman and premium should not be used in the same sentence.

I know the ratchets in the sets nowadays are junk. I will post a link to a ratchet shoot out that shows old ratchets in sets withstanding 200 lbs of force while the new ones did only 76-83 lbs before reversing.
