Ok I've acquired a pile of these motors, all 3 phase and all turn nice and smooth. Is there anyway to find a hp or torque rating from the info on the plates? My plan is to hopefully purchase a couple vfd's for these and repower a couple lathes

They say .37 kW and .55 kW (kW = 1000 Watts). One horsepower = 746 Watts. So the small one is .50 HP. The bigger one is .74 HP

Ok thank you. 3/4 hp one will work nice on my 6" lathe. Now to find the right vfd!

I'll move this to electrical for you if you wish----an electrician can tell you if that is three phase or not----

Let me know---Mike-----

No I know they are 3 phase. 4 wires coming out of motor. I thought there was an electrical section but couldn't find it on the app for some reason. Brain fart? He answered my question though, thanks
