Miter Saw Storage

I have a Ridgid 12 in Sliding Miter Saw mounted on Ridgid's miter saw utility vehicle. It has the capabilities to stand upright with the saw for utilizing less space for storage. I was wondering if there is any problem with storing the saw upright? Could it potentially cause problems with the motor, etc? Space is limited and I could really use the space that I'd save. I use the saw occasionally so it could spend a month or two in storage before use.

Not going to hurt anything.
Just check the blade for alignment with a speed square before using it.

Miter Saw Storage

it wont hurt anything.. the only way it can do any damage is if you knock it.. in that position gravity and any knocks it takes will increase the chance of throwing it out of alignment
