Makita recicprocating saw

I have a 15 amp saw that doesn't keep the blade in after cutting for a minute or less, with the tool less blade change feature. What is wrong? How can I make it hold the blades in when cutting?

Clean

Is the holder clean? I had to blow my Makita grinder out with compressed air to get the disc release to work. dorf dude...

Yes. I sprayed a solvent in the slot and on the rotating collar and followed that with compressed air.
