Looking to upgrade to 18v li-ion HELP

I have a myriad of tools, Mikita 14.4V drills, impact gun, Ridgid 14.4V drill and impact gun & 18v (niCad) planer, 1 porter Cable 24volt drill, Bosch 12v Li-ion mini drill, Mikita 12v mini combo, and of course some ryobi 18V1+ tools. Some are niCad, some are Li-ion.
I am looking to upgrade to maybe 1 brand. Need to have of course the standards: couple of drills, impact drivers, circ saw, sawzall, jigsaw, so keep that in mind!
Of course everybody has their Favs. But, what do you think I should get? I am kinda leaning to the Ridgid cause it is readily available and has a good track record with me.
I see that Lowes has Porter Cable, but it does not seem to be the quality of what I currently have?
Give me your thoughts?

Looking to upgrade to 18v li-ion HELP

the makita lxt line is one of the best available.. bosch as well. both dewalt and milwaukee have a well documenteed issue with their lith ion batteries not lasting.. the current rigid 2pk of the drill and impact have had a hight percentage of them being sent back do to the motors overheating

^^^^ Ditto on the makita lxt. Get the 3 amp-hour batteries.... Have mine for almost 5 years, no issues.

I personally like the ridged it's really my go to. It is readily available, the warranty is about as good as you can get. My first set of batteries lasted almost 8 years. When they did go bad I changed to lith-ion and didn't have to buy new tools. And I totally agree on the Porter-cable and that is a shame because they had a really good rep.
