Large flat file handle

I have a file like this, and for years I have not found a handle for it. My homemade version is not holding up well because it's just two sandwiching wood pieces, and I'm tired of having to fabricate my own. I'm constantly looking for it at tool shops and hardware stores -- not sure anymore if any company makes it.

Note that this is not the common file with tapered end that inserts into those wood or plastic handles sold everywhere.

So I'm just curious. Has anybody actually purchased a handle for this type of file? If so, from where?

how is the metal section shaped where the wooden handle would normally go?

Are you asking because my included photo sample does not show up for you? It's a spade handle as wide as the file itself. :tooth:
