What brands do you rely on the most? Is there an industry leader? My reason for asking is I'm about to be doing a ton of concrete/masonry work with my impact driver. Tapcon concrete screws have a habit of mauling my #2 Milwaukee pihillips head impact bits.
I don't know how much a "ton" is for an impact bit, but I used a 6" long DeWalt #2 bit for putting tapcons into the shoe boards of the framing for my basement, and still have that first bit - looks like new.
That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that. I know I'm not sinking any that deep (or trying though). All the screws I've had experience with are 1 3/4" or shorter. Maybe, I'm not holding my mouth right? Haha. I don't know. It's been a frustrating experience.
